How Amar initiated a successful poultry farm?

July 5, 2025: Dang Ghorahi:

Amar Bahadur Bist is a local farmer from Centre No. 86 of the Tulsipur B Branch of Aatmanirbhar Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Ltd. He lives in Dudhenama, near Krishna Temple, Tulsipur–8. Today, he is known in his community as a hardworking farmer and a successful poultry entrepreneur.

Amar had always wanted to improve his family’s financial condition through farming. He saw that poultry farming could provide a regular source of income, but he did not have enough money to start the business. To turn his idea into reality, he received an initial loan of NPR 50,000 from Aatmanirbhar Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha.

He used the loan carefully to start his poultry farm. He purchased chickens, poultry feed and other basic materials needed for the farm. Although the investment was small, Amar was determined to make the best use of it. He regularly looked after the chickens, maintained cleanliness in the farm and carefully managed the feeding and other daily activities.

The beginning was not easy. Poultry farming requires patience, proper care and continuous effort. There are risks of diseases, changes in market prices and rising feed costs. However, Amar did not lose hope. He continued working hard and learned from the challenges he faced. His dedication slowly started producing good results.

As the poultry farm grew, Amar began earning income from the sale of chickens and poultry products. The business helped him support his family and manage household expenses. He also used part of his earnings to continue and improve the farm. His responsible use of the loan and commitment to his work helped him establish a stable source of income.

The financial support provided by Aatmanirbhar Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha played an important role in Amar’s journey. The initial loan of NPR 50,000 gave him the opportunity to begin a business that he could not have started with his own limited resources. However, it was his hard work, discipline and proper management that turned the small investment into a successful poultry farm.

Today, Amar Bahadur Bist is an inspiration to other farmers and members of his community. His journey shows that a person does not always need a large amount of money to begin a successful business. A small loan, when used properly and supported by hard work, can create meaningful changes in a person’s life.

Amar’s success has encouraged other local people to believe in their own abilities and explore income-generating activities. His story is a good example of how microfinance can support hardworking farmers, promote self-employment and improve the economic condition of families.

From a small loan of NPR 50,000 to becoming a successful poultry farmer, Amar Bahadur Bist has shown that determination, proper planning and continuous effort can lead to success. His poultry farm is not only a source of income for his family but also a source of inspiration for the entire community.
