Staff Capacity and Organization Development workshop concludes

The second-day session, organized on August 15, 2025 by ANLBS at Vingreli Resort, was held on Staff Capacity and Organization Development, facilitated by senior staff from the central office, Nep Bahadur Chaudhary.

He discussed the documentation and importance of ''know your clients'' (KYC) while disbursing loans to the clients. He pointed out the common mistakes usually committed by the staff while maintaining official documents to keep the tract record of personal information about loanee and witness.

Similarly, another senior staff Kalidas Chaudhary discussed the issues related to staff sick leave, casual leave, maternity leave, marriage leave, mourning leave and leave without pay etc to which the staff are entitled in the organization according to the human resource policies.

The chief executive officer Shogat Bir Chaudhary off and on gave his suggestion and made comments on various thematic subjects presented and raised in the seminar.

Then training consultant Hit Bahadur Thapa presented his training powerpoint slides on Capacity Development for the staff. In his presentation he discussed about definition of capacity development, why it matters, core principles of capacity development, level of capacity development including common barriers and specific staff roles that an individual should have.

This was followed by senior staff Nep Bahadur Chaudhary who delivered his talk about duties and responsibilities of individual staff.

Then the chief executive officer Shogat Bir Chaudhary also discussed about the organization development by orienting the staff about it.
