ALBS conducts AML/CFT and Branch operation training
July 7,2023, Dang Ghorahi: Two days training on Branch Operation Management, Anti Money Laundering (AML) and Countering Financing Terrorism (CFT) for employees of Aatmanirbhar LBS (ALBS) has ended on July 7, 2023 in Ghorahi at hotel City Plaza.
The training was organized by Sunita Trust Foundation (STF) on July 6 and 7, 2023.
As many as 100 participants representing branch managers, accountants, marketing assistants and office support staff attended the two days training on AML/CFT and Branch operations.
The first day training was initiated with formal inauguration of the training by Chief Executive Officer -CEO-Shogat Bir Chaudhary by kindling the oil lamp.
The central staff Binay Chaudhary moderated the program. Resource persons including Nirmal Chaudhary, Nep Bahadur Chaudhary, Puran Adhikari, Kalidas Chaudhary presented their various thematic issues regarding the operation of branch offices and clients and current situations.
The CEO Shogat Bir Chaudhary also delivered his training on current challenges and methods of coping up with the situation emerging challenges in the field of service delivery of microfinance and repayment.
The second day training was started with the recap of the previous day which was moderated by senior staff Sushila Giri of central office.
Then the session was taken by the resource person H.B. Thapa on Anti Money Laundering (AML) and Countering Financing Terrorism (CFT) with various provisions of punishments for those involved in AML and CFT.
Similarly, the other training resource person Kamal Regmi delivered his deliverance on Banking rules and obligations of the staff and narrated how the fraud activities take place inside the financial instutitons and punishements given for each banking crime.
Then the day was concluded with concluding remarks of few staff, trainer HB Thapa and CEO Shogat Bir Chaudhary.
