Center chiefs' annual review and financial literacy program held

April 21, 2023: Tulsipur branch "A" of Aatmanirbhar LBS held its center chiefs' annual review and financial literacy program at the conference hall of Ekanta Hotel in Tulsipur on April 20, 2023.

The program was attended by over 250 women participants representing various centers formed by this microfinance company. The program was graced by its Chief Executive Officer -CEO -Shogat Bir Chaudhary and presided over by Tulsipur branch manager Jugram Chaudhary.

Various ward chairs and members of Tulsipur Sub Metropolis were also present on the occasion while the local unit of police also was represented by one Police inspector during the program. The program was conducted by the central head of human resources Nep Bahadur Chaudhary supported by other staff members.

Speaking during the program, the ward representative of ward no 9 expressed his view against the ongoing illegal social media campaigns that were apt to tarnish the image of microfinance services in rural areas.

Speaking during the same program the representative of the security agency from the police department said that Microfinance Company like Aatmanirbhar LBS has reduced gender violence and domestic violence to a greater extent by creating jobs and self-employment for the poor and rural women which must be appreciated by all. He also stressed that the government also should promote such institutions in the country.

He asked the center chiefs not to pay attention to the people who are illegally canvassing against the Laghubitta institutions in the country.

Addressing the audience of the center chiefs' review meeting the CEO -Shogat Bir Chaudhary said that no loans will ever be exempted as there are no such provisions in the country because the loans are public money which is circulated as microloans from the public savings, share holders' capital and big amount of loan taken from A class banks which are again public money.

Soon after the remarks of CEO Shogat Chaudhary the floor was opened for the center chiefs to give their feedback to the company and then the closing remarks were made by branch manager Jugram Chaudhary after which the program came to an end.

Similarly, the Shree gaun branch of this company also held its center chiefs' annual review and financial literacy program on April 21, 2023.

The program was attended by over 140 rural women who are clients of this microfinance company. The CEO Shogat Bir Chaudhary along with security personnel attended this meeting.
